Could you check out 1358 (I think) Broadway (Corner of Person) on the side across from the school and adjacent to the old supermarket? That used to be my father’s store – Broadway Kirby. It was a beautiful building with beautiful old woodwork in the apartments. If you ever get there, it would be very interesting. Thanks.
Will do…if this is the place I am thinking of, it was also the home of Joy Photo after it moved from another location further down Broadway in the 80s.
