New York senators have introduced legislation to rename the Broadway-Fillmore post office in Buffalo to the William J. Donovan Post Office Building.
Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, who is championing the bill, stated that the renaming will help preserve Donovan’s historic legacy in Western New York. The proposal is currently awaiting approval from the Governmental Affairs Committee before it advances to the full Senate for consideration.
