I’ve been coming to the Broadway Market my whole life, every saturday, even though i moved out of the area, I bring my father to do our weekly shopping. It was nice to see the market Alive this past week, with more stands and the live band was great. I only hope that more stands will be added to the place for longer then a holiday week. More food stands, there are enough “nic nak” typed stands, that isn’t utilized anyway. Utensil stands, reasonably priced stands that have health care items would be nice. Or coats, jackets and new clothes. A shoe stoe would be nice, with name brand items not knock offs.
One thing that needs to be done is have parking lines repainted in the parking ramp first floor, its ridiculous how people park.
Security is a must, and i think they do a good job there, as well as, maintenance. The place needs some updates and to get rid of some junk that brings down the look of it.
The City and the Mayor should work a lot harder on knocking down the houses around the market, it seems to take them forever. Maybe if the higher officials cut their wages they would be able to afford to clean up the east side.
