Merry Christmas to all of you back in the greater East Side of Buffalo, NY from my family and I in West palm Beach Florida (80 degrees today)!! We miss the area but love this website to keep us informed as to the great events going on. Hope to be back soon for a visit.
Mike, Sue, and the kids
St. Ann’s Church also has a very nice nativity this year. It is lit up every night. It is worth driving by if you are in the neighborhood.
Merry Christmas to everyone on the East Side!!!
I grew up around Fillmore Avenue and Howard Street. I have great memories of my childhood — ‘Dolds Park’, the Blizzard of 77, the Broadway Market, Sattler’s Pet Store, Central Terminal, Hutch Tech and in the later years of my ‘childhood’ – – the ‘corner bars’……
The last Christmas I spent in Buffalo was in 1985 – it was a ‘white Christmas’ and I treasure that Christmas more than ever!
I truly miss Buffalo and the east side — ……
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to one and all…
God Bless and may the remaining Catholic Churches stay strong in numbers and faith……
