Fall Fest is returning to the Buffalo Central Terminal on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 p.m., bringing families and neighbors together for a free community celebration featuring Trunk-or-Treat, music, treats, fall activities and more.
Presented in partnership with the Matt Urban Center, Fall Fest continues a Halloween tradition in Buffalo’s Broadway-Fillmore community by providing a safe, welcoming and family-friendly space for children and families to celebrate the season.
Families are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes and enjoy an evening of trick-or-treating from creatively decorated vehicles, music and activities throughout the event.
TRUNK-OR-TREAT PARTICIPANTS WANTED
Community members, businesses, organizations and groups are invited to become part of the celebration by registering a vehicle for Trunk-or-Treat. Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles, dress in costume and distribute treats to families attending Fall Fest.
Advance registration is required for participating vehicles at https://bit.ly/TrunkOrTreat2026
Individuals and organizations interested in further supporting this community Halloween tradition can reach out to Danyel Sease, Director of Community and Youth Services at the Matt Urban Center, via email at dsease@urbanctr.org.
Fall Fest is part of the continued activation of the Buffalo Central Terminal as a gathering place for the Broadway-Fillmore community and families throughout Buffalo.
The Buffalo Central Terminal’s free family-friendly community events are brought to the community by the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation. We are also grateful for the support of CSX, Fillmore District Council Member Mitch Nowakowski, and Erie County for their generous support.
